OUR BACKGROUND:
On November 4, 1899, a group of farmers in rural Texas, north of present day Houston, organized a farm mutual insurance association to provide fire insurance at a time when large corporate companies considered agriculture business “too risky”.  Over the years coverages were added as the insurance industry progressed.

In 1980, Ken Schultz became a licensed agent, forming Ken Schultz Insurance Agency.  Many other insurance companies were added creating a large independent personal lines agency.  As insurance products were added, additional agents joined our offices in order to give our customers quality service.

Today we operate under the name of Texas Heritage Insurance Group where we strive to combine the service of the mutual insurance concept with modern companies and products.  We offer value to homeowners seeking the best discounts on the highest quality financial products.
